After archive a condition price via archiving object: SD_COND, is there any standard SAP transaction code to read the cited condition from the archive ? I tried with VK13 but it did not work.....

Hello,
I have implemented the archiving object = FI_SL_DATA and I customized his corresponding infostructure Z_FI_SL_DATA_03 from the field catalog = Z_FI_SL_001.
So after succesful archive executions I tried to read the corresponding data from archive via AS by TCODE=GD20 selecting Data Source = Archive&Archive Information System and then the system shows the following message:
#GD_ARCHIV184: "Activate info structures to read archived data using SAP AS"
with the following diagnosis:
"The archived data cannot be read using AS as no active info structure exists for the following field catalog(s): SAP_FI_SL_001"
But I checked and currently the only active infostructure is the Z_FI_SL_DATA_03 and his corresponding field catalog is the Z_FI_SL_001 NOT
the SAP_FI_SL_001 ???
Additonally on GD20 when I select the archive file manually it works fine ???
Is there someone that could help me on solve this issue ?

As TCODE=VF31 can not generate output from archived billing documents, I would kindly ask you if is there any other alternative standard SAP way to do it ?

I am trying to reload the data archived through the archive object crm_serord .For some variants jobs are scheduled and data is reloaded .but .now when i am trying to reload i am unable to select the sessions in archive selection .

Hi All,
Currently we are doing data archiving using SAP Content server. Now we installed OpenText archive server and going to move to OpenText data archiving.
We are now trying to migrate data that we archived previously through SAP Content server to content repository in OpenText Archive server.
We have tried retrieving all the files from SAP Content server storage back into SAP global exchange directory.
Also we have created new content repository on the OT environment and SAP.
Now the files cannot be selected to move further to OpenText Content repository.
Please suggest solution to migrated all files that in SAP content server to OpenText archive server so that we can retrieve those old data in all respective SAP transactions.

We are having SAP GRC 5.3 which is Java based system. We are planning for archiving data from this java based system.
As we understand, XML based archiving is the only solution for java based system.
Now we would like find the possibilities of reading archived data from this java based system.
Kindly share the steps/options to read the archived data from the java based system.

reading documentation about Data archiving, ILM and SAP Hana I came across archiving of finacial accounting documents in SMART FI 1.0.
It is stated, that the archiving with the archiving object FI_DOCUMENT is replaced by Data Aging for Financial Documents.
There are also Data Aging Objects for IDOCs and Application logs, but still the corresponding archiving objects are described.
Can somebody explain to me, how data aging for FI accounting documents without archiving object FI_DOCUMNT fits to the idea of ILM?

I need your help for vendor archiving.
With SARA ( Object FI_ACCPAYB), I did "WRITE" and "DELETE" for newly created vendor. There is no any transaction data created for this new vendor. Vendor set for Deletion flag (XK06)
Both write and delete ran successfully with Productiv variant.Batch job also successfull for this vendor. But still I can see data in LFA1, etc. tables or any other transactions vendor is available for selection. How to get rid of that vendor from system?

I try to archive vendor master with the object FI_ACCPAYB Vendor master data
I am able to archive the company code and the purchasing data by the series of steps I execute. As a result the entries are deleted from the database tables, LFB1 and LFM1.
However, the data from the table LFA1 is never deleted. Does archiving not delete the general data for the vendor master?

We are trying to perform the archiving for PP_ORDER , MM_ORDER , FI_ACCRECV , IDOC objects from SARA.
We don’t have the content repository , we want to store the files with in the server. When we tried to perform the archiving we are unable to store the files.
Could you please help us how to proceed further.

Hi,
we need to archive some of our biggest tables. We wanted to start with dbtablog.
In TA scu3arch1 created a variant
Maintained the parameter archive ARCHIVE_DATA_FILE and ARCHIVE_GLOBAL_PATH.
Started the Job but no Data is archived.
I checked it in SE16 - 2.752.452 Entries.
So, why does the system no archiving? Grateful for any hints.

" there is still a purchase order commitment for ORD 200060" and
"order 200060 still has at least one purchase order that you need to do".

Hello Experts,
I have activated ILM business functions from Sfw5 transaction. After which i am able to see the ILM browers tab in the SARA Transaction.I can see the bulb glowing. However here is where i need your help.
When i click on ILM browser nothing happens. I type in any archiving object say FI_Documnt and go to the write program , i do not see the ILM options of archiving,snapshot and destruction. I am confused. is ILM really activated on my system or not. how should i proceed ahead. Please suggest.

We are using SAP Content server for archiving and all archived data till now were stored in it using content repository. Now we are planning to shift to OpenText data archiving and currently this is in-progress.
We need to migrated all the old archived data from SAP content server to our OpenText Archive system and all those data needs to be retrieved/accessed from our SAP ECC system. Please suggest methodology to acheive this migration strategy.

Hi,
We have been archiving data for years using archive link connected to Commonstore. We have around 4 TB of data and want to move the archive data from Commonstore to OpenText.
We tried using the report-ZMIGRATE_ARCHIVELINK_FILES(SAP Note 1043676) but that migrates only the documents and not the data archives.
We even tried to retrieve the archive data files using SARA-->Retrive option, we are able to retrive the archive data files, but not sure how to upload these files into OpenText.
Please advise if there is a report to migrate Data Archive from one content repository to another.

we have configured basic steps of ILM thru which we are able to see ILM in transaction code SARA.
we would like to use Open text as archive storage solution. however, we are unable to figure out how to configure the same. Documents talk about XML DAS but my understanding is we should have Java stack for this....
please note that we have only ABAP stack in our ECC system and there is no AS JAVA.
earlier, we used to configure contain repository in transaction code OAC0 and thru this we used to access Opentext server.

I have 2 issues with this archiving object...
1. I am looking for the section of code in the write program (/SCTM/R_SHP_ARCHIVE_WRITE) which verifies the status ITM04 in table (/1OM/TMSHHSTTxxx). I know that the value of this status must be on (X) in order to archive but the status table is not part of the SELECT statement.
2. I have a 'developer' user id which can run the object perfectly...archive files are being created. BUT, my 'archiving' user id runs for the same amount of time (approx. 15 hours) and finishes without creating any archive files AND no error messages. I suspect a missing authorization but am unable to identify it. I cannot reduce the runtimes and therefore cannot run in foreground as the select causes me to timeout. I have other archiving objects running with the 'archiving' user id which are able to create archive files in the same directory as TM_SHP.
